Fred Stenson is the author of a trilogy of historical novels: The Trade, Lightning and The Great Karoo. The Trade was a finalist for the Giller Prize in 2020, and The Great Karoo was a finalist in 2020 for the Governor General’s Award for Fiction. He directs the Wired Writing Studio at The Banff Centre and writes a regular column for Alberta Views Magazine.
